Preheat Oven 180oC, Prepare cake tin grease or cover with baking paper.
*NOTE Don't use a baking tin with a removeable bottom cake batter is really liquidy leakage will occur.
Method
1. Sift flour and cocoa and set aside
2. In a large mixing bowl beat sugar and eggs until sugar is
dissolved beat in Vanilla
3. In a small saucepan melt butter and golden syrup unitl butter
is completely melted you could melt it in the microwave aswell.
4. Mix Flour and Cocoa into egg and sugar in small portions along
with melted butter and golden syrup until completely
combined.
5. In a heat proof bowl microwave milk and bicarb soda for 50 to
60 seconds. Carefully stir in all boiled milk into cake mixture.
If cake batter is really runny don't worry it should be like that.
6. Pour batter into prepared tin and bake for 35mins or until
skew comes out clean.
Leave in pan for 10mins before turning out onto wire rack to completely cool before icing.
